Hebburn Metro first began teaching children to swim in 1968; the same year as the pool at Campbell Park Road opened.  

The club has trained many County level swimmers over the last 50 years and continues to provide friendly swimming sessions for children of all ages and abilities.

 

Over the years children and young people have represented the club in many leagues and finals.  There have been many successful individuals and teams.
